SPITFIRE!

As some of you will know I spend Mondays at the Battle of Britain memorial at Capel, which returned to manned opening yesterday, Monday 4th. The first phone call recieved was a request for the Spitfire flying days, so, here they are!
March - 7/8/9 or 15/16/17 if weather is bad.
April - 11/12/13 or 18/19/20.
May - 16/17/18
June - 14/15/16 -The Hurricane will also fly these dates!
July - 13/14/15
August - 15/16/17 - Hurricane will fly these dates!
Sept - 13/14/15
Oct - 17/18/19
Please remember that all flights depend on the weather, the aircraft avalability etc, if you wish to fly in the helicopter you will need £300/£400/£600 or £900 depending on the flight time.
Saturday, June 8th - Folkestone airshow, I have been comissioned to photograph certain aircraft here and will do so from Capel as the BOBM is on the flight path this year!

With regard to the buried Spitfires, no luck so far, it would seem that they were never buried in the first place. The two companies who formed the search party have gone their seperate ways, so no further searches in the near future. It was a nice idea but I think we can consider the case closed, at least for now, I'll keep the forum posted if I hear anything in the future.
