Not for the faint hearted but I found this item on the 'web'
Scientists are caught up in the excitement of an amazing find - a spider spinning the largest and strongest webs ever seen.
The Darwin's bark spider tops the list of the most incredible species discovered in the past year. Its monster webs in Madagascar have been found up to 82ft wide.

under rated creatures, they get rid of loads of insects in the home without us ever realising that they are there.
clean too, always finding them in the bath.

The expression on that bloke's face in post 1 explains everything.
That spider looks as though it came out of Lord of the Rings.
If the spiders in this country were a danger to us i would be scared , but as they dont i dont see why people are scared of them .

Using logic, you are right Mark, but phobias are not logical and big grown up people can (and do) have phobias about almost anything.
Roger
Thats true Roger , i guess i was a bit harsh , it is my job to rid my house all summer of any spiders that dare enter my house , even my soon to be 4 year old boy doesnt like them .
