  Likewise we should not give new contributors the idea that they are not welcome. Eleanor H has obviously rubbed a few people up the wrong way but so what? I would not like to be a member of a forum which sought to be exclusive rather than inclusive; highbrow and lowbrow topics should be able to exist alongside each other without snobbery, inverted or otherwise; spelling and grammar lapses can be forgiven; yet people should not be able to hide behind aliases while making posts designed to offend or stir. I will not post any criticism on here that I would not repeat face to face. But in a small community like this, anonymous contributors will rightly not be taken seriously and might be treated as trolls.
