Been on the Sandwich Road a while now.
I wonder who's idea it was to put it on a road with closely grouped speed humps?

It's not a camera as such, just shows speeds.

I think they are very good they only just tell you about going over 30mph and to slow down with the cars we have today it is so easy just to go over it by a few m.p.h. and not know it ,do it myself and the meter puts me back on track.

I don't know what the great deal is. Alkham and Temple Ewell have had them for many years and also Lydden

The Temple Ewell & Alkham cameras are placed where the speed limit reduces. The one in Whitfield is in between speed bumps in the middle of a 30mph area.
Anyone going much in excess of 30mph over those speed bumps are likely to do damage to their car.
Perhaps it should be placed where the limit reduces from 60-40 or 40-30?

I understand that it is portable so will appear in other places around Whitfield.
