  I suspect the "idiots" playing loud music were unaware of the event and the person who tooted their car horn wanted to show support, but got it wrong.
  
  However a drunk was allowed to roam largely unchallenged, tarnishing the occasion, and a catcall from a passerby at just the time the speaker was recalling Edward Grey's famous words about the lights going out was especially ill-timed and ruined the moment.
  
  Still, a good event nonetheless.
