  dover and deal seafronts are two very different entities in my view, deal is best viewed from the pier looking at the town whilst dover is best facing the other way seeing all the action out on the sea.
  
  i much prefer looking out at the ferries, berthed cruise ships and freighters and tankers further out plus the odd surprise visitor that paulb spots from his penthouse.
  
  whatever our preference we are lucky to live in a district with so much to see.
