Funny that. I've just been for a late afternoon swim and the rubbish on the beach is reaching epic proportions. I know DHB have won some ridiculous made up green award for reducing carbon dioxide or some such nonsense but the litter left by the happy, smiling day trippers is disgusting. Of course the DHB sub contractors tend to let the tide take out most of the rubbish so saving themselves lots and lots of money.
I went further up the seafront earlier and spent ten minutes removing a broken booze bottle from the concrete apron where swimmers sit to change and decided to use the pool instead.
That's the trouble - once the sun comes out so do the local chavs to ruin what could be the jewel in the crown of the town.
