It makes me wonder how much more of our history lies buried and all but forgotten. This is yet another project that has been uncovered by the hard work of volunteers just like WHPS have cleared scrub and rubbish so much from the Western Heights area.
Well done to all volunteers whatever your project, where would we be without you all.

There are probably a lot more buried along the South Coast and there some good examples at Denge near Dungeness too.
