There is a nice new sign at the Cherry Tree end of Barton Path. Interesting, packed with history, wildlife trivia and useful contact numbers in a nice arty ornamental mount.
Good stuff. More please.

Looks good, let's hope it is respected and the improvement of the path follows. I used to walk along there daily when I lived in town, went along there a few weeks ago and it was very neglected.
Hurrah! That looks really attractive and thoughtful.

I understand the signs were done by Anita Luckett, funded by the EA, DDC, WCCP

I can just read Do Not Fish Here but not what's underneath, does that mean it's not illegal!?

a very talented lady, i thought that looked like an environment agency logo.
let's hope we have some more as they are an inexpensive way of making the town look attractive.

Howard, I've had quotes for similar, inexpensive is not a word that's appropriate!

What an informative and attractive sign. A few more signs like this are just what the tourist will like to see, possibly better than any leaflet.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Nothing cheap about signage considering our one at St Martins Battery in wood cost £500 without any interpretation !!!!
Been nice knowing you :)

That does look good but what a telling point that one third of the board has to be given to instructing people on how to behave!
