I heard and saw it when I took Jean to Buckland early this morning (06.30); no idea what it was looking for though.

UPDATE: Helicopter search for missing girls in Dover woods
FOUR girls went missing for at least five hours in woods near Dover in the early hours of this morning.
Dover Coastguard sent out a helicopter over countryside in Church Hougham and Maxton following a request from Kent Police at 4.49am.
It is understood the girls, three from Folkestone and one from Hythe, got lost near Kearsney on the eve
ning of Friday, December 7.
A fire crew from Folkestone was also called to assist, as a dog team were sent out in search of the missing youngsters.
The Coastguard helicopter from Lee-on-Solent, near Portsmouth, helped locate the girls at around 7.30am on Saturday, December 8.
A spokesman for Kent Police said officers were called at 2.15am on Saturday to reports of four teenage girls missing in a wooded area in Dover.
"The girls had gone from Folkestone to Dover Priory train station at about 11pm the previous evening and had walked to a wooded area, believed to be near Kearsney Abbey, when they reported that they were lost," he added.
"Police attended and used sirens and blue lights to help identify the location of the missing girls. A coastguard helicopter was called and the girls were found at about 7.30am.
"They were winched to safety and moved to a sports field on Elms Vale Road where they were met by South East Coast Ambulance.
"They were transported to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford to be treated for cold complaints, no other injuries reported at the time."
