  MILLION POUND CONTRACT
  AWARDED TO LOCAL COMPANY
  
  Dover District Council has awarded the contract for maintenance of windows and doors for the Council's housing stock to local company Prima Service Ltd. The contract is for the next five years, and is worth almost a million pounds to the Nonington-based firm.
  
  Cllr Mrs Sue Nicholas, DDC Cabinet Member for Strategic Housing, Local Authority Housing, Landlord Policy and Tenant Affairs, said:
  
  "This is a significant contract and we are delighted to be able to renew our contract with Prima Service Ltd, and to continue to support a local company and local jobs in the current economic climate."

  im sure prima had a repair contract with the councill beforehand,if my double glazing needs repairing they allways came and repaired it.

  everyone there was a very nice photo which went with this press release .Far better than the one in Dubris .
  
  I could have done with out todays press coverage as tonight i go to speak against the screen .All of three minutes .

  Sue I did not, I say not, get a photo with the release...if you can get it sent over will be happy to use it. Always keen to see photos where possible.
