In a pot for now, but these get to 6' - 10' eventually! The dwarf ones and the camellia are thriving in the garden though, and just about to bloom.

Yours will be fine in a pot, the container size will restrict its growth. When we moved into our house we "inherited" a Rhododendron in an smallish ex plastic water tank, still going strong after about 14yrs just a bit leggy, we have not bothered to prune it as it seems happy as it is.
