21 February 2012 20:16154853seeing that myself and i think coletteb is in the same situation that being 60ish at the moment and with out a buss pass,the way it reads if this idea is taken on board by goverment we wont get one,i have been told i cant have mine untill january 2013.

behind the scenes the criteria has changed where 60 is not the age anymore, all very complicated but i was told some time ago by a chap aged 55 that the bus pass and sundry goodies would not reach him until he was 64. - Jan Higgins

21 February 2012 20:44154873I thought bus passes were meant to be for pensioners so they should not be available to those under pension age.
On the wider issue we get a lot of trade from those who live in Deal and Folkestone who have used their bus pass so it does help the economy.-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.
