  I left London, I couldn't afford to rent there no more, I would love to be living in the west end.
  It would be better if somebody ells was paying for it.

  the downside of all this is that london councils are trying to rehouse families far away, the families don't want this and the councils in the north and midlands are clued up enough to know that they will be sent the most difficult tenants.

  Howard it very honourable to try to accommodate every one, but reality is we
  The tax payers cannot keep up with London rents; housing benefit has been a licence to print money for privet landlords it's got to stop

  Interesting article.
  
  I don't recognise any great shift in this direction unless it is in the private sector.
  
  Even then we would have picked up the trend. Thanet are the honey pot authority that currently is under pressure & recognised as such.
  
  Their local plan is currently undergoing preparation & this subject is the biggest of issues, particularly if the Manston debate goes pear shaped.
  
  The Manston site full of housing land at cheap prices is the magnet.
  
  Howard, I thought for a moment you were asking for the public baths at Biggin Hall/toilet complex to be re-opened.
