  Last night my youngest came from his friends house in dour street and noticed 3 youths playing with the supermarket large dustbins.
  
  my boy took no notice of this and continued to walk via side of morrisons, bridge street and over tower hamlets, by the grammar school these 3 hooligans (who wore scarves to cover there faces and hoodies) jumped my boy hitting him in the face causing two big bunps on his head and one on his cheek bone.
  
  luckily for my boy a passing gentleman saw what was happening and shouted and the 3 cowards ran off.
  
  the police did a good job in getting to the scene quickly but the youths had gone
  whilst the police nterviewed my son another call came through of an assault outside the ex cherry tree pub(may or may not be connected)
  obviously my boy was in shock over the incident,
  
  i hope this post wont get bogged down with stats that say dover is safe
  when it affects your own the figures mean nothing.
  
  had the chap not shouted when the 3 youths were punching my boy(totaly unprovoked) i dread to think what the outcome might have been,,
