Here's a bit of a mystery, anyone got any suggestions as to what caused this mark in the snow? It wasn't there yesterday but had appeared by 8 this morning on the roof of my shed. It's about 18 inches long, the snow that has gone is nowhere to be seen and there's no marks in the snow on the lawn or the other side of the roof to suggest anything bouncing off or landing.

This was taken from outside to get a different angle, it was only when I downloaded it that I found I'd caught a sparrow flypast!
