    It did indeed refreeze yesterday. My neighbour's son kindly scraped and gritted my steps at the front, but I still managed to do a few back-flips and a triple-salco and yet counted the steps with my hip going out at about 3pm. The park is virtually ice free, path wise, except for the all important rout from the front gate to the cafe. So close to perfection yet so far away.
    The crispy boot-marked snow is the better way on and off pathways for if the ice is not plain to see it is lurking invisible. 'lurking' is what I wrote and is what I meant to write. The full facts I leave to the imagination.
