09:1173599Message for all you keen photographers .Where I live in River Sanctuary Close ,the Church Wall is covered in beautiful Gold ,Red and Yellow leaves .With the backcloth of the trees it is lovely .
A picture for our calendar .Where are we with this idea ??
Surely one of you has contacts with a local graphic designer .

09:1973603It is such a good idea it seems a shame if we don't follow it up. River and Dover have some gorgeous snappable sights. A real opportunity to promote our area as well as celebrate it. And we have some fabbo photographers on this very site!!

09:3973609I would buy some if it happens and I agree we have some wonderful pictures on the forum from some great photographers.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

12:3573640Lovely picture Jeane, and it`s currently my desktop background for now, somewhat stretched, but still very colourful and appropriate for this time of year.

20:3173754Thanks for that Jeane, and it`ll be nice getting up to Autumn colour on here in the morning. I may even just look at your leaves, then log off. Your picture would be an excellent scene for Sue`s proposed forumite calendar. October maybe?

10:1173800Thank you very much Kath.

I sell prints via my website and a couple of people have done paintings from them. Contrary to rumour I do photograph other things besides cemeteries

- mainly wildlife, architecture, urban and abandoned. I did a book earlier this year called Curiosities which contains some of the odd and interesting things I have photographed over the last 3 years. I also do a calendar each year of angels which seems to prove very popular in the USA as they love our Victorian memorials.

15:5474228 Didn`t forget your request Sue, waited for a nice day. However, the sun was in the wrong place, and still somewhat hazy from this morning`s lingering fog. Does look very nice, but I`ll try and get back there again to get one more sharper. No sign of Vic, but met an old railway colleague who live`s up there now. A good bloke.
