Yes Paul always something going on in Deal and Walmer. They Had Dover Pride here on Saturday .Least said the better,Unless you have changed over the past few years I could not see you taking part .
I went to The Dover Marina hotel yesterday.First time out .The meal was excellent served at the table .Service good .They had the lady playing the piano softly in the background .I think they have had a rethink.Plenty of tourists staying there.

As usual I stayed at home as nothing appealed to me out of the events I knew about.
It is worth mentioning that some (like my immediate family) are working today as it is just a normal Monday for them because of their work contracts, so never ever benefit from these public holidays.
It would be nice if the new Holidays being talked about are on a Friday so more people can have that extra day off prior to the weekend rather than after.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.
