most of us are told that showering is much more economical in use of water and energy.
not so apparently, unilever done a major survey on the use of their products and it transpired that on average we spend 8 minutes under the shower using much the same water and energy as a standard bath.

Sales of baths have dropped, I fancy. An average of 8mins leaves much to the imagination...for those that take less than 2 mins.

I love a bath and really do not like showers. I only feel clean after a good soak in the bath every morning - its good thinking time to prepare for a busy day...

Showers for quickness but I do like a soak in a candle lit bubble bath.

When I built the new shower cubicle I made it big enough to fit two comfortably!

a lot depends on what job you do, nowadays most work is actually not dirty anymore.
baths and showers are more for refreshing ourselves and feeling better afterwards than shaking off grime.

I thought Terry's dog always looked rather well groomed.

nope mine would disagree Ian.. he likes to be shampooed in dog shampoo but he likes to have some conditioner whacked on after as it stops his dry skin and makes him look more handsome.. dont you know?!
