  I am lucky I have never been stung by one,.......... touch wood.
  
  There might not be so many wasps but there seems to be plenty of flies.

  wasps love me i even got stung by one on the lip in winter!!
  
  i notice the bees seem to be getting smaller each year.

  I had a hornets nest in the woodshed last year, at least you could hear them coming in time to defend yourself with a rolled up newspaper!
