i saw earlier that the footwear shop in pencester road has a closing down sale, i assumed they were doing ok - seems they were not.

no kath much further along, they have only been open a few years.
seemed to have a good range, bought some stuff myself from them and they gave discounts to students and cruise ship passengers and crew.

I also thought that Howard meant Coulthard & Wilson I use them when I can not get my new shoes from the shop.

Any shop closing in Dover is sad - I guess if you don't use it, you'll miss it less. It's another hole in the High Street (O.K. Pencester).
I would have thought that with the bus terminus, M & S, Poundland etc. it would have had a good foot-fall, but if people are not buying, it can't stay open.
