does look that way terry, the shop closed about a year ago then reopened with the original staff, so i assume that they put their money in it.
i hope they have not come unstuck here.

i see the ex golden lion is up for sale.

Such a shame i had a lovely gypsy tart from there only last wk (along with my salad box from another shop with a mint sauce topping yum yum )

i took this one about 2 p.m. today, seems early for a cafe to close.
it was mentioned on another thread that they were not doing very well.

The area outside badly needs cheering and as I said the trade seems to have dropped off since the tv screens were introduced, they do tend to be a little loud at times.

howard,its still open.the owner opens at 0600 and closes at midday as well as the harbour cafe futher along the road.they catch early morning diners to a good breakfast.
