I took these pictures a few weeks back. Took a number of them but these two are the best, but are still not very good quality...as clearly the ships are a long way out and you need very fine conditions to reproduce well at that range. However, thought I would show them as they are almost humourous re the grand scale of things..
In normal circumstances a four master sail boat would be considered fairly large but just look how its dwarfed by the monster passing behind it, even though the four master is closer to the camera...well shiver me timbers if that monster couldnt crush it into plywood in seconds. Vigilance needed on the foredeck!
Some days you can spot a sixpence at 50 miles but not this time...so the pictures are a wee bit grainy alas.
