Watched the link and it is very interesting. The video had lots of feedback from locals saying how well it is working.
Since the video was made by the people who were responsible for the idea, I did a Google to see if there were any objections.
The link below shows a car which has crashed into a shop front with the comment from the shop owners: "We have been waiting for this to happen. The cars come thundering past here, the shop shakes. Nearly every day there are minor bumps and incidents that don't get reported. So we've been expecting something like this."

On balance, the scheme appears to be working. One thing that strikes me is that the very high traffic flow requires motorists to understand precisely how roundabouts work and that could be a drawback in Dover where there are a high proportion of foreign drivers. It would certainly not work on Townwall Street where a substantial proportion of the foreign HGV's demonstrate a sketchy or non-existent knowledge of the right-of-way on British roundabouts!
