what a surprise that was!!
nothing to do with dover, but the country must be gobsmacked that the little girl is safe and well.
she has survived all the statistics.
i notice that it was down to good old fashioned coppering, when they got no answer from the flat, they started asking questions of the neighbours.
not like that girl in walton on thames, then they got no reply and moved on.
I think it is the second public result from "old fashioned coppering" in the last few weeks......perhaps that should tell us something?

Its good that she has been found alive
now questions to be asked about this bloke she was in house with
whats that all about
It was said on the news today, that the person who held here was an uncle of the step-father.
To me this whole ordeal has something very strange about, I can't wait to hear the full outcome in the days to come.

i think that quite a few family members will be dragged in for questioning.
all along the mum was certain that she was still alive.
why was she so confident?
the police used the same resources as when they were after that ripper chap.
they will be asking some very searching questions.
It was sad that a family member felt the need to criticise the police for not finding her sooner - I cannot imagine what else the police could have done and I know they will have been working as hard as they could on this case. I would have said it was a bloody good result myself - finding her within a month and alive and well. And, as has been said, based on old fashioned coppering.

It is fantastic that Shannon was found alive, something I did not think would happen. But it is all very odd, kept for three weeks just up the road with an extended family member. You don't really want to think what that little girl might have gone through.

this whole affair will run for some time yet.
shannon was found over 2 days ago, yet the parents seem quite content that she is in council care.
does not seem like normal behaviour to me.
every time i read about her, in think about vicky pollard out of "little britain", 7 children by 7 different fathers.

its certainly a strange one, parents seem very relaxed over the whole affair.
suppose it will all come out in the wash.
does make you wonder though who can you trust these days?

Yes it is such good news, let us hope it was some form of kidnapping rather than anything else, because it could take along time to get over (if at all) anything else
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

been reading more about the alleged kidnapper, a rum cove, if ever there was one.
changed his surname to donovan, as his hero was jason?
let us hope that the little girl can blot anything nasty out of her mind.
