My family and I quite often go down to Shakespeare Beach to picnic/barbecue during fine weather.
This week we went down after work on Wednesday with our BBQ as it was scorching hot, the sea was gorgeous and its a great way to relax after being at work all day.
For the first time I was shocked at the state of this beach, there was litter everywhere. We were hard pushed to find a litter free spot to set up on.
We have taught our children to remove all traces when we leave the beach and we always take our litter with us, the inconsideration of others really disappoints me
