  Thanks folks, apart from that hazard above, it was indeed a very pleasant stroll down Whitfield Hill on that gloriously, late Summer, sunny morning. I`ve motored up and down that hill countless times over the year`s, and as someone mentioned above, it`s very little used by pedestrian`s. With so many legal people about these days, advertising accident`s and compensation etc, I felt like this item needed urgent attention, as they`d be a good case for anyone wishing to sue the local council for any mishap!
