so far the success rate locally has been very high, i think pat said approx 50% already worked on or in the process of being worked on.
would be great if the one pictured was actioned with so many people entering and leaving the country seeing it.

It's a crying shame that the splendid windows above the alleyway at 215 Athol Terrace have been removed or was it war damage? They look grandiose or am I just being a touch grandiloquent, all the same they were magnificent it would be wonderful to restore them to their former glory.
The property pictured in London Road, could it be Ivy House

What seems to be the problem? Looks fine to me though a tad overgrown.

I can see nothing wrong with posting the picture in #5, if it looked better maintained the picture would not be there in the first place, the fact that Vic knows who lives there has nothing to do with it.

The bus 86 is the Tower hamlets bus, this bus ran from East Cliff, through town, up over the Hamlets to South Road, up to Noah's Ark road to Northbourne Avenue, then down Eaton Road into Elmsvale Road, back down to Market Square and East Cliff, thats when it was two-way traffic, this was the only bus to run to East Cliff, laid on I believe to take Parker Pen workers to just outside the Eastern dock Gates, ( not there now) how this has altered, very often had a kiss and cuddle from my late husband in the shelter, whilst waiting for the bus to take us home after a evening stroll along the promenade, those were the days

Keith. It would be a good idea to let sleeping dogs lie on this one; feelings are running very high and the usual taunts aren't a good idea at this time.

Keith, the removed picture was of a ivy or creeper covered uncared for looking house and Vic knows the person who lives there.

I'm a big fan of keeping things simple, but with all the photos and half the posts now deleted this thread makes absolutely no sense.
Closing!
