I heard it is being taken over by Eastwell Manor.
Audere est facere.
If this is true , it will be its third change of management since it opened wont it ? Thats not a good sign, the last time I tried to eat there I left before the main course the service was so bad

was that recently sarah?
vic complained on here a long while back about the intolerable wait for the grub to arrive.
Maybe about 10 weeks ago Howard , it was so slow. I think its only the second time in my life I have walked out of a restaurant .

i couldn't be bothered either.
another thing that puts me off is that there is no menu outside.
i like to know the choices and prices before i go in, everybody else seems to manae to display one.

I must say in the last few weeks before going into Margate the food and the service got better. but we went in there one afternoon for a meal with my family only to be told,"No food only drink because the staff were going home. that did not go down well with myself it was only 1530hrs.
It did sometimes feel that the customer was somehow in the way .

Restaurants usually close at 2.00pm if they are/were only doing lunchtime food, so I would not expect to get a meal at 3.30pm.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Yes, I heard it was Eastwell Manor taking over the catering, but was told not to say anything as the contracts hadn't been signed - maybe they have now.
If they do take over, perhaps they will change the MacDonald's style table and chairs too.
As Vic and others have said, the food was O.K. but the service, who ever ran it, was always dire.
The staff moved like they really didn't want to be there.

I found some of the staff good, there is one lad there he is or was good, but when it comes to paying some times it was a long wait.
