Seal Hunting and...

  A brisk walk along the promenade this morning, produced the above image. I saw PaulB`s picture of a seal on here the other week and forgot all about it till I spotted this one, (same one?), with his head sticking out of the water. I had to take about 8 images to get this one, and was up and down the Eastern end trying to guess where he would come up next.
  Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

  i have a sneaking suspicion that colin carried that statue all the way from whitfield to take a pic of it on the plinth.
  
  incidentally we had a seal in the wellington dock a couple of years back, he got driven away by big phil who chased it around with his camera.

  Colin, the small figure on the Miners plinth has been there all week. I noticed it after the MN day wreath laying on Friday the 3rd.
