Up until this year the seagulls had not learnt how to get the food from my hanging feeders which has a small dish that I put the mealworms in every morning. This morning one of the barsteward things stood on the small wall that is underneath and kept jumping up to make them bounce out.

I had a similar problem with the gull jumping up from the ground, bashing the bottom of the seed feeder trying to edge it off the branch and it worked a few times so I bought new feeders about half the length and the bird decided to give up.
