  I am not normally in favour of culling wildlife but I think there is a case here. In some of the world's cities food spiked with a contraceptive effect has been fed to feral pigeons with great success, it was mooted years ago about Trafalgar Square but the idea got dropped. I believe the move inland was due to over fishing in the Channel and North Sea and although that problem is not so bad they have got used to scavenging in towns and cities. The growth of wheelie bins has contributed to their aggression as there is not enough available food.
