Extremely quiet on the seafront today in spite of the glorious weather. Totally unlike a normal Sunday. Where is everybody?

too true brian, i was on folkestone seafront this morning.
the wind was so strong that if i had bigger ears i would have been picked up and landed in france by now.

I didn't think it was that bad in Dover. True it was windy on the pier but we sat quite happily in the sun on a seat on the seafront...

Plenty of peeps out of the wind in the garden of The Fox, Rotary Club beer festival with music from the youngsters of LA Music Club and plenty still to be drunk!
The Mighty Cowpats have finished playing and gone home so your ears are safe

dover has many critics but i doubt there is any better place to be on a sunny day than on our splendid seafront.
the massed hordes today cannot all be wrong.
