Great theory above there Ed will study it further shortly. It is an oddball phenomenon as to why the silt stays in such a defined area. All theories welcome..

Yesterday as you will all know was a blazingly gorgeous day. A phenomenon all of its own.

The Lifeboat shown above had just returned from a power run to the Goodwin Sands where it and its crew were being photgraphed for a new book, all exciting stuff indeed. that will be one to watch out for...if we find out any more details re the book in due course we will let everyone know. But shortly after the gadget packed hi tech vessel had returned, the BMW motorcycle club descended upon the station in force, motorbikes galore.

Below you can see some of the bikers enjoying a tour of the Lifeboat.
In the background to the left you can see the UK Border Agency vessel we featured previously called Vigilant, here she is lurking quietly in the shadows..keeping low key.

The Border Agency guys are back out on the channel run as we speak..saw them departing into the fray just a few minutes ago this morning.

From the fab new RNLI equipment to an old style Lifeboat. Here we have the William and Kate Johnston. I think one of the guys put up a picture of this one before..dont know what thread it was on so cant find it, but here she is again, resting in Wellington Dock yesterday.

The Seafront was busy busy yesterday. Many out for a stroll in the November sunshine, hopefully these pictures show the brilliant design of the whole thing..a strong design for sure,,the juxtaposition of curves and straight lines.
