    FANCY SOME SKIING
    more below on that

But first a picture or two..
Here is the dramatic sunrise just a few minutes ago across the channel, they keep right on coming. Nature does all the work..picture unretouched or manipulated in any way. You can see why some of these merchant mariners ( like that young Ed Connell feller! ) like to spend their lives out there on the briny...on mornings like this anyway.
    Painted by nature.

The chap below was being extensively photographed yesterday. He was getting the full david bailey treatment and the photoshoot lasted for quite some time. It wasnt a quick in and out. Anyone know who he is?? that's a puzzle for you.
    I dont know myself.

    And now the Skiing:
Skiers heading for France to make the most of heavy snow fall in the Alps this winter ......
can bag a bargain booking with P&O Ferries. We all love a bargain!

Travelling on the company's Dover-Calais service offers skiers the chance to pack up their cars with friends and kit and head to the slopes without the worry of excess baggage supplements. Fares start from £39 each way for a fully-laden car with up to nine passengers and there is a choice of 23 sailings every day.

Departures on the overnight service from Hull to Zeebrugge start from £122 each way for a car and four passengers for a standard return crossing. The price includes cabin accommodation on board the ship and is valid for a Continental stay of more than five days.

Pierre & Vacances partners with P&O Ferries for ski accommodation and offers a wide range of apartments and luxury chalets. Among the options available this December are seven nights in a four person apartment at Flaines from €590 or a four person apartment at Serre Chevalier from €499. Both resorts have already seen good snowfall this season.
