    Very busy down on the seafront today as you can imagine. Lots of people and lots of cars and all proceeding safely, at least on the seafront. Huge amount of traffic everywhere, earlier in the day especially...which brings me to a sad moment.

    Went up this morning to collect my redone and revamped motorcycle from Kent Motorcycles up on the A2 on the way to Canterbury, and there was the most awful and horrendous accident at those traffic lights up there. Air Ambulance, Fire Engines, Police vehicles, ambulances, all at the scene. It shakes you up a bit on such a glorious bank holiday. It looked bad enough for fatalities.

    The good weather brings an upsurge in activity and some of it very negative on the roads, even the Lifeboat has been out twice today as I understand it.

    Drive Carefully is the message.
