  i can never understand when people with different political views cannot get along because of politics.
  
  all parties change as society changes and they try to keep up with trends.
  
  as a simplistic example, mr blair courted middle england to get the reds elected and ended 18 years of blue rule then spent the next decade mixing with big business and worldwide royalty.
  
  now dave has clearly gone for the social conscience thing, every new policy helps the poor and leaves middle england picking up the bill to the chagrin of the party faithful.
  
  i find it fascinating to watch.
