I first played this game back in the 70s as a board game and only very recently on the internet. One of the skills of the game is to get rid of difficult letter`s such as Q, Z, V etc, which are a little more difficult to find words for. All good fun. Now to this internet version. Each day on logging into the game, there`s a `Word of the Day`. Todays word happens to be WAQF. What`s wrong with this? Well, nothing really, except for the fact that it gives an easy way to use the letter `Q` without needing a `U`. Just one other thing though, this word isn`t in fact english, it`s a Muslim word meaning an endowment. So, is this a sign of things to come, and why stop at this word? No disrespect to Muslim words, but shouldn`t Scrabble remain one language or the other?
