All round good egg, and my old school chum, Cllr Ronnie Philpott the Mayor of Dover, last week officially opened a new shoe shop in London Road. She cut the ribbon watched by the head man Tony Drew and his partner Mel Smith.
Popping in also was the Secretary of the LRCF Ross Miller who had his ear bent by Tony's father Peter who was concerned about the continuing gas main repairs and it's effect on trade for all of the London Road shops!!!
They do some nice shirts as well!
