Still think it would look great if it could get (back) into the Wellington Dock as I am sure it would get the passing traffic to stop

500 quid a week is a lot of money to find, would be a great pity if it stopped the ship returning to its rightful home.

At the moment we are waiting for the MOD Salvage and Marine Team to take a look at the vessel-hopefully in about 10days. What we need is for them to agree to refloat her as an exercise and move her to dry dock for us. We are already talking to the dry dock owners and it's looking as though we could do a favourable deal. As a matter of fact the Teeside local press is following the story too-we have a Middlesbrough rep and local support is starting to come out of the woodwork.
As regards Dover berthing fees-not on my list of priorities at the moment. Will be saving that nightmare for a later date. Hopefully by then much more amenable folk will be running the port!
