I don't use Facebook Diana so I can't help. However there is a definate need for another place to give "bloods". Last year I felt dreadful for ages. I went to the doctor who could find nothing wrong with me but nevertheless ordered a blood test. My own surgery do not do blood tests anymore although I understand that this was a source of income for them. I called BHD and was given a date just over a week later. All due credit to them, the test was on a Friday and I was phoned the following day to get myself over to the K&C with acute renal failure.
The point is, had the waiting list been longer, as it inevitably will, what might have happened to me waiting for a longer time?
We need more blood test availability for sure.
Terry
