After the recent Arctic style weather it was almost like summer so jacket it was.
I have never seen my grandson so nervous especially as the bride was about 10 minutes late but all went as smoothly as can be and my new gandaughter-in-law looked absolutely stunning. The whole ceremony had a very relaxed atmosphere and I would say to anyone thinking of getting married there go for it.
I had to leave the reception up at the Whitfield Hall before the end as they had a rather noisy disco and being an old codger can only put up with being deafened for a relatively short time, I hasten to add I was not the only aged one so did not feel quite so guilty.
