Can someone tell me if you still have to pay to get down to the beach. This has nothing to do with the golf.

You can go across golf course from Deal. Past Cinque Ports GC, onto Chequers Pub, along Ancient Highway to Sandwich Bay.
But I believe they will have Barriers down and manned over the Golf.

Went there the other day and it is now £7 to park on the bay! ..considering it was a fiver last year..or they may have hiked the prices up due to the golf match going on. The day we went there was no-one else around! .. lovely spot.
