  I was lucky, SarahP, and am grateful for being relatively unscathed. My heart goes out to others who suffered far more, as I clearly don't need to tell you. I am still astounded, though, that Vic could assert that there is "nothing wrong with our hospitals" when he must have seen some of our posts and heard some of the comments about some of the appalling things we have sometimes experienced. None of us have ever claimed the local health services were all dreadful, but there is enough evidence that there are some significant areas of appalling practice. To say otherwise is an insult to the rest of us. And yes, I feel insulted by it.
