  I was up at the Duke of Yorks Saturday and there was a mum, a young child and the father at a table nearby.
  
  The woman, though young and attractive, had one of those harsh loud voices that carried. She did not say hardly a word to her other half or the child, she spent all her time making calls on her mobile talking inconsequential tosh to friends. We could hear every mundane word.
