    I couldn't agree more. My councillor (DDC) has a history of misjudgment (IMHO) but always seems to be the Tory nomination on the basis that nobody else is prepared to do it. Always happy to pitch up as a teller on election day and solely motivated by their position in the local party. Party work fodder but otherwise utterly useless.
