  I won't dwell on the fact that our refuse / re-cycling sequence has been changed three times in recent weeks but is has now become very silly. Initially we were given a leaflet with a new schedule, two weeks later we got another one that changed the sequence around. It then went back to square one.
  
  I checked the website on Monday and confirmed that on Thursday it would be re-cycling. It wasn't collected. Checking again it had changed to refuse!
  
  This morning it appeared that the re-cycling would be collected again only to find that it had apparently been collected at 07.38! Chasing the dust cart (sorry, "freighter") up the road I found that they were collecting refuse.
  The obliging collectors then phoned in to report it for me as I had no hope of talking to anyone at the council on a Saturday morning.
  
  Lo and behold they turned up and hour later with a different freighter and cleared the re-cycling.
  The collectors told me that they get a lot of flak about the mismanagement when it's not their fault.
  
  Apparently we will get another leaflet soon with a new timetable. I can't wait.
