Rubbish dumping

  I see in the Dover rag a letter saying people with vans can no longer get rid of there domestic rubbish on the tip
  
  
  Any truth in this? If so will this not encourage fly tipping?

  Yes it is true,you have to pay,when we go up in our cars they stop you and can aske you to open the boot if they wish you do so,but you have to tell them what you have in it.You do not pay if you keep to the limits .

  So the countryside will be covered in crap and we will be paying somebody to pick
  all up and take it to the tip!

  For the house user it is about the same as it was,it is the vans etc.

  It's all to stop the commercial guys from depositing trade waste for free. If you have a van as your sole domestic vehicle then you just have to fill in a form beforehand to get a permit, so no real change apart from the 90kg limit for building waste and a charge for asbestos (at one time they wouldn't take it anyway), and tyres which happens wherever you get rid of them.

  Got the new KCC vouchers to use the tip at Whitfield to day, for vans only,
  
  So of I go, with me van full of rubbish, every thing all ok.
  
  So I am chatting to the man checking vouchers on the gate, he's not very happy
  Tells me all the workers are losing £200 a month in scrap bonuses.
  
  So apparently reduced scrap being dropped of at the tip.
  So I am thinking if the scraps not going to the tip where it all going then ?
  
  
  On the subject of KCC some fools come up with an idea to close of all the lay-bys ?
  
  So I am thinking if you need to stop for a quick quirt , or forty life saving winks you won't be able to.
  
  I don't understand the thinking of these clowns.
