    It was a great day, I can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday other than watching the RM Band play live. I was there in capacity for Dover Sea Cadets. Unfortunately, too many of our band members were away on training in the New Forest so we were not in a position to be able to play. That said, huge respect to Deal Air Training Corps who did a fantastic job. Their hard work and practice is really showing. Very impressed with their performance indeed.

    In previous years, they've claimed a 10,000 strong crowd but to my eye today, it seemed like there were far more there than in previous years. The road was full of spectators, as was the cycle path. I would not be surprised if there was more like 12,000 this year.
